Of interest that this is an anonymous comment obviously by someone who isn't following Anna's notability. Her remarkable visibility in the Art world at her age is important enough for the most prominent newspapers and art magazines to take notice along with Art Buyers from around the world. This snide comment by someone who won't reveal themselves is not accurate nor appropriate Jeffkov (talk) 16:53, 24 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Just re-upping this; while the anonymous comment is definitely snide and rude, they have a point. This article's level of detail (considering the near-complete lack of notable, published news, analysis, or criticism about Weyant and her work prior to her involvement with Gagosian Gallery) and tone reads very much like a gallery or someone connected to Weyant professionally had a hand in writing it. I'm not accusing any editors of violating conflict of interest rules, but I agree that this article could be edited to reflect a more neutral tone and not read like self-promotion. 19h00s (talk) 18:40, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

MOS Edits

Seems like there has been some back and forth between editors making changes to this article, so I just wanted to flag before I make any edits.

This page isn't in line with Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Visual arts. The extensive exhibitions section needs to be cut down - this level of detail is unnecessary and the vast majority of group exhibitions included are not notable enough for inclusion. Generally, only the most historically significant (ie Freestyle (2001) or Objects: USA (1969)) or broadly known (ie Whitney Biennial, Venice Biennale, or documenta) group exhibitions should be included. For contemporary artists, generally only up to five solo exhibitions should be included, with priority to shows that were most pivotal in an artist's career or that took place at notable museums. There are a lot of artist bios on here that don't follow that rule, but notability guidelines dictate that complete lists of exhibitions for a single artist are overly extensive and useful for very few readers.

Additionally, the language about Weyant's style and oeuvre needs to be adjusted; claims or analysis made by critics should be quoted and attributed, not simply formulated into prose and presented as a sourced fact. Additionally, descriptions of her works should be based in physical descriptions and quoted analysis, with analysis about things like "the magnetism of Weyant’s œuvre" not appropriate unless presented as analysis. The "magnetism" of Weyant's work is not an accepted or provable fact; it is analysis and opinion, and should be attributed to an author who claimed that her work was magnetic. 19h00s (talk) 19:19, 30 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

For those who have contributed to this article in the past, please remember that you cannot simply copy and past content from another website, without quotes, and add a citation to that site.
