Premature burial

[edit]

Did she have a fit, seemingly die, then come back to life c. 1806? I have seen the story, but don’t know if it is true. 88.84.2.117 (talk) 22:04, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stories claim that Anne Hill Carter Lee suffered premature burial in 1805 or 1807, but none of them are documented and the stories are often classified as urban mythology. Bigturtle (talk) 13:28, 1 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Anne Hill Carter Lee photo

[edit]

The image of subject Anne Hill Carter Lee used on this page is actually that of her granddaughter, Robert E. Lee’s daughter Anne Carter Lee, according to the National Park Service site (https://www.nps.gov/arho/learn/historyculture/anne-lee.htm). Images of the subject of this Wikipedia entry, Lee’s mother, can be found by doing a Google image search of Anne Hill Carter Lee.Kbcunning11 (talk) 15:54, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
