merge suggested

[edit]

The constituents of this agency are probably not notable by themselves, and the best way of preserving the information on them is to merge them into here, with appropriate redirects.

This merge will of course also remove the duplication that exists in many of the sections

Concomitantly, it will remove the promotionalism. A Wikipedia article needs to be written like an encyclopedia article, not a press release--not praising the organization , but saying what they do. Not talking about the overall importance of the subject they work on, but about what they have accomplished. The articles on Islamic banking, etc. will give the necessary background. ANd almost always ots a poor idea to copy from a web site, even your own -- even with the necessary permission (as shown above), the tone will not be encyclopedic and the material will not be suitable--as was very much the case here. .

Articles should include only material that would be of interest to a general reader coming across the mention of the subject and wanting the sort of information that would be found in an encyclopedia. Keep in mind that the goal of an encyclopedia is to say things in a concise manner, which is not the style of press releases or web sites, which are usually more expansive.

As a general rule, a suitable page will be best written by someone without Conflict of Interest; it's not impossible to do it properly with a conflict of interest or as a paid press agent, but it's relatively more difficult: you are automatically thinking in terms of what the subject wishes to communicate to the public, but an uninvolved person will think in terms of what the public might wish to know. Fortunately, as a rather experienced Wikipedia editor, I'm prepared to rewrite material of this sort, if the subject is important enough. I've started with this article.
