• Expansion of the History section, possibly a partial merge with Astrology and astronomy. No longer necessary, this is now covered by History of astronomy.

• More emphasis on the fact that astrology is not just the same as astronomy, but not a science at all. Done.

• Expansion of lists with short introductions to the topics. Done.
• Cleanup of See also and External links. Done to a satisfactory level.
• Many more references. Done to a satisfactory level.
• "Amateur astronomy" section is a stub. Fixed.
• "Major questions in astronomy" section is a stub. Fixed.
• Address "unreferenced" tag. (Need to tag specific items in need of references with {{fact}} templates so that they can be addressed.) Done.
  • Only two three sections still need references. There are also some {{fact}} templates in the text. These have been replaced by a more general 'unreferenced' tag.
• Modify "Astronomical observations" and "Astronomical objects" sections to match re-org. (See "Suggestion for reorganisation" below.) Done.
• Additional good books for references? Done.
