About "sub" labels

[edit]

"avex mode" ceased to exist in April 2007, when it became "avex entertainment". BeForU has releases on "avex mode" so to try calling "avex entertainment" "BeForU's label" is ludicrous and ignorant beyond belief. I would also argue that "avex trax" would also be a "sub-label" in the sense that the avex group is the parent of all these labels, and avex trax is not the parent per se of any of avex's labels. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.156.89.47 (talk) 03:51, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Some info

[edit]

Avex songs appear in IIDX red. In the console jap version the logo is visible on the song select screen when you are on one of their songs, and when you select it the logo is quite large in the video screen before play. 75.155.156.130 (talk) 03:04, 7 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A-nation

[edit]

Anyone wanna put some info up here about the "a-nation" festival? 140.134.242.13 11:04, 14 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is a festival where many J-POP and K-POP artists perform and share the stage together in an extravagant way. It is held since 2002 and is Avex's 8th consecutive promotional event. Rappyboy2008 (talk) 21:58, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Caps no caps

[edit]

Their own site(s) use no caps in the name, and many references use only lower case. So I'm going to mark that with a template, but not try to change the title in order to keep links functioning. Eleven even (talk) 01:28, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK, not so easy. The template for this only changes the FIRST letter, and I haven't found how to change the T in Trax to a 't'. Anybody? Eleven even (talk) 01:33, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The only way you can do that is to move the article to Avex trax (a redirect to this page) and then use the template to make the A small. But before doing so, please note the guidelines at Wikipedia:Manual of Style (Japan-related articles)#Capitalization of words in Roman script and Wikipedia:Manual of Style (trademarks)#Trademarks that begin with a lowercase letter. article Avex Trax to Avex Group

[edit]

There's much more than just the labels (Avex Trax, etc.) that Avex Group is involved in. Just like say, Disney, Avex Group deals with other entertainment properties, like anime, TV, movies, etc., and other stuff like disco halls and restaurants. So time for analogies: Avex Trax is to Walt Disney Records as Avex Group (Holdings Inc.) is to The Walt Disney Company. The article on Avex as a whole needs to be expanded to fit this. Once this is done, it's possible that Avex Trax may have its own article again, or at the very least should have a dedicated section in the Avex Group article. --Geopgeop (T) 02:31, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK! If Rhythm Zone has its own article, what about Avex Trax?

TVXQ - A-Nation?

[edit]

Isn't TVXQ (known as Tohoshinki in Japan and Dong Bang Shin Ki in South Korea) part of A-Nation? Should they be included in the list of other stars like Ayumi Hamasaki, Koda Kumi and BoA?

~Garfield Turtle Anime~ (talk) 14:33, 26 December 2008 (UTC) Hajiru[reply]

No, they have only participated the last few years and it is better to only name a few artists. Therefore the artists who have been a mainstay and are usually the main attraction should be mentioned.

Oh ok. Thanks for the info! :D

Key People

[edit]

I suggest to make a new section about Avex's key people because the infobox is too crowded.
