Dawn of the Dead (and others?)

[edit]

I looked HARD on the internet after Dawn of the Dead came out and I saw Azam Ali's name scroll by, and couldn't find anything detailed about her work in the remake of Dawn of the Dead! It vexed me so... but now, wandering in here to do some additions to VAS and tidy up her bio a bit (though not perfectly), I google and find this Interview with Tyler Bates that shows she sings on his scores. It is with this interview, her crediting in the movie, and him in charge of the score, that I confidently list her as a vocalist in his score. Even though she appeared under Cast in the movie, not under the music header. Ok, I'm still a little confused, but here goes... Mr. Cat 19:10, 9 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Album table

[edit]

I put the External links and Reference sections in their correct placings (via examples of nearly every article on this site) but the Discography table, for some reason, is below the links section. I have no idea how to fix that, so if someone could help, it'd be appreciated. --75.2.38.27 13:26, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, she has a new album, Green Memories that has been out for a number of months. I think this is the first time I've been to an Artists' wiki and it hasn't been up to date. I'm not sure about the right way to add it, though. 192.223.226.5 (talk) 15:48, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Religion

[edit]

Ali refers frequently to spirituality and God. Does anyone know what her religion is? — Emiellaiendiay 08:35, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tone

[edit]

This looks like it was written by her publicist. Anyone care to change the gushing review to a neutral article? --71.110.68.86 (talk) 01:43, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

-Seconded. I don't know anything about her, but judging by the tone this is clearly a publicity piece. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.251.95.1 (talk) 17:28, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

 Done --Haruth (talk) 00:46, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If it was done, its been undone. I love her music, but if one is going to use terms like "most prolific, gifted, and versatile in the world" in a Wikipedia article, they should be backed up. This article is totally unsourced. I don't think that it was written by her publicist -- both in her web statements and in person, Azam is quite modest. I think it was written by a fan.
