Leaf

[edit]

This photo of a bánh chuối wrapped in a leaf is very atypical. Both the steamed and baked version of bánh chuối are usually not wrapped. Badagnani (talk) 03:02, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting. I found this very bottom of the page in sheets showing "Banh chuoi" sold in sheets. I can't find a lot of pictures or information on the web. Do you think the pictured item is not Banh chuoi? a different kind? ChildofMidnight (talk) 18:18, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I looked into it some more. And I guess there are lot of Banh, it can be a sandwich, a crepe, or a bundle Banh. And chuoi just means banana. Is it possible that the photograph is technically of a Banh tet chuoi? ChildofMidnight (talk) 18:29, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I see also there is a Banh tet article. Hmmmm... ChildofMidnight (talk) 18:50, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
