If Baba Budan is the saint then what does the giri in the article title mean? RJFJR 18:40, July 24, 2005 (UTC)

Baba Bundagiri is the location of the shrine. 195.92.67.75 11:45, 24 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Can you fiest correct your first premise? It was Chandradronagiri first and then with an intent to usurp the land, it was named as baba budan after some one from the far eastern religion. 173.67.2.180 (talk) 03:51, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Giri in Samskritam and Kannada means a Hill. It qas not Baba budan giri from the get go. It was Chandradrona Giri and a holy place for native Hindu population. The generous Kannada population foolishly allowed it to
be named after someone from the Far East Asia's religion not realizing that the entire landscape will be usurped one day and held hoatage and Hindus will not have acceas to their holy place. 173.67.2.180 (talk) 11:52, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
