Spellings

[edit]

In the article we have in the intro:

Baetic Cordillera aka Baetic ranges or Baetic mountains, and in Spanish as the Sistema Penibético.

However, further down this becomes:

The Cordillera Bética are a number of mountain chains...,

and

The Cordillera Bética encompasses...

We need some consistency! I am arbitrarily plumping for the spelling Baetic, and that Cordillera is singular, and making changes accordingly. I have no vested interest here - I won't argue with anyone changing this to any consistent pattern. --King Hildebrand 13:07, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Aljibe Mountains

[edit]

Are they or aren't they? The author of the first half of the article includes the Aljibe Mountains in the Baetic Cordillera, the author of the second half does not. Someone must know, but unfortunately it ain't me! --King Hildebrand 13:14, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

I see now that the article has been merged a few months ago without a subsequent edit to impose consistency. It could do with a workover by someone who knows his stuff. I'll put it to the original author. --King Hildebrand 13:18, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Baetic Cordillera in morocco

[edit]

Please, I don't know who write this infomation but no is true that baetic cordillera is in Morocco.... Only in Spain. please re-write this article--Alejandro RAD (talk) 09:12, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, as it stands now, this article refers to the Gibraltar Arc. The Betic cordillera is only the part of the Gibraltar Arc in the south of Spain. Gaianauta (talk) 22:29, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I just solved this subject. I checked other sources. I'll add a fig. now Gaianauta (talk) 22:46, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
