I hope someone can make this article longer and with references. Would be nice.--Mats33 (talk) 23:37, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone know how to get more information on the North Dakota bank? It would be nice to know if they loan money to the state of North Dakota, whether the banks profits above what is needed for reserves is used as state revenue. I have read that North Dakota Banks are not protected by FDIC insurance with the state taking on the role of guaranteeing loans. Also how do they work together with the private Banks of North Dakota I have read they essentially act as the states central bank does anyone know how this works?

It would be nice to get some sources on these questions and expand this article. I am new to Wikipedia and I am interested in expanding this article but sourcing information about banks that are unconventional or not aligned with the consensus of conventional economists is a tricky subject due to very sparse sources.

If anyone else is interested in filling out this article respond here and I will be more than happy to help or even just accept advice on how to get some reliable sources. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 0WhatWhat0 (talkcontribs) 12:19, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Needs paragraph on response to Great Recession

[edit]

This page would do very well to have someone describe how it enabled North Dakota to sail through the Great Recession of 2008.Historian932 (talk) 03:46, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
