Removed text , and so far has had a somewhat mixed response although students are enrolling locally and from abroad many have dropped out as this isn't supported by any evidence. Joncojonathan (talk) 11:59, 21 January 2009 (UTC) (Network Manager at Barton Court)[reply]

Pretty much the whole article isn't supported by any evidence at the moment! Any cleanup you can do is most welcome. ~ mazca t|c 20:47, 21 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Will have a look at what I can do - I have quite a lot of information available to me in the archives. Will probably reformat it too as it's a bit non-paragrahped! Joncojonathan (talk) 09:00, 13 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I currently go to Barton Court, and my opinion on the school is that they have a great quality in teaching ability but needs to be able to control their students more.

Barton Court is a large school compared to others, it can hold up to 900 pupils ranging between 20-30 pupils per class.

A sports hall has recently been built at the back of Barton court which has also been funded be Christ Church (opposite BCGS) this is where we do most of our PEC (PE Core) or PE GCSE lessons in the winter, when the weather gets warmer we use the courts out the back of the school, also at the back of the school there is a large field and a small field which can be used for a wide range of sports.

In the hall there is a Cantine which serves a combination of delicious and healthy food, and is available at break and lunch. The Cantine serves a wide range of products to the students; these include healthy and savory snacks (e.g. Fruits or Biscuits), they also serve Dinners for the students who prefer to buy their food from school tan bring it from home. In the cantine they also serve drinks which can come in different quantities for different prices. The pricing of the food and drink in the cantine is very reasonable but this opinion can vary between students, also the food is prepared to above satisfactory levels and is definitely worth the money.

Barton Court used to be a Girls Grammar School but has changed to a mixed grammar school, which in my opinion is better then only being able to socialize with the same sex, this can also benefit the student for future times.

In Barton Court they give the option to stay on and do the IB (International Baccalaureate) which is better than A-Levels, but is more difficult. Most pupils will take the easier option and go to college or to another school but if you are willing to work at it and do your very best then you should definitely apply for the IB, it will be to your benefit in the future.

The IB is offers high quality programmes of international education to a worldwide community of schools. The three program's for students aged 3 to 19 help develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world.

I have been at the school for 5 years, and i definitely recommend Barton Court to all others who want to give life the best they have.

Thank For Reading Barton Court is a school for students who are willing to learn, and have the abilities to make something of themselves in the future —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.146.253.82 (talk) 00:25, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please remove the following line:

Famous Barton Court Alumni include Timothy Horne, Scholar and Head of Jewish Studies at Bristol University.

I am Timothy Horne and I hold no such occupation, nor does another Timothy Horne hold this position - someone has written this in as a prank!

Thank you!
