Merger proposal
[edit]I propose merging these two for two reasons. First, they are each little tiny stub size articles that are about two versions of the same thing. Second, the terminology that defines the two terms is by no means universally accepted. Battery balancing is a very generic term, and probably means different things to bring much anyone in the industry. The precise definition of battery redistribution as a different thing rather than a type of battery balancing is quite idiosyncratic, and the editor who created that article and wrote that definition cites himself as the reliable source.
After they are merged, we probably need to clean them up and delete commercial links and that sort of thing.Ccrrccrr (talk) 22:01, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
I've been collecting related articles, and here is my list:
- Battery management system
- Smart Battery Data (which Battery monitoring redirects to)
- Smart Battery System
- Battery balancer
- Battery balancing
- Battery redistribution
One options would be to merge the last three into one article, perhaps "battery balancing", and to merge the first three. other suggestions? Ccrrccrr (talk) 02:41, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
- Agreed. I've merged Battery redistribution, Battery balancer, and Battery regulator into Battery balancing. Quarl (talk) 16:41, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
- thanks, nice work.Ccrrccrr (talk) 17:40, 17 April 2011 (UTC).
External Links section
[edit]Regarding the [External links] section, the link to YouTube "Audiopedia" seems worthless. It actively makes accessibility worse. Its sole function seems to be to create caption-free videos with pointless animations reading out outdated versions of the article. I fail to see the added value which users of screen readers do not already have, and have with much better functionality. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.53.184.138 (talk) 16:36, 31 August 2020 (UTC)
