Syrian campaign of WWII

[edit]

Gday. I think the battle honours from the Syrian campaign of WWII might be missing (unless I'm having a moment). Anyone with some knowlege on this able to check? Anotherclown (talk) 22:42, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Egypt

[edit]

The link for 'Egypt' leads to an account of the French expedition to Egypt in 1798-99 and contains no reference to the British expedition under Sir Ralph Abercromby in 1801, for which the battle honour was awarded. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JF42 (talkcontribs) 11:13, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Affghanistan 1839

[edit]

Gday. The correct spelling of this battle honour is indeed "Affghanistan" not "Afghanistan". Pls see per Rodger (2003) Battle Honours of the British Empire and Commonwealth Land Forces 1662-1991 p.46. Anotherclown (talk) 00:37, 1 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
