Naka

[edit]

The USS Seawolf (SS-197) page says the Naka was not hit, but this page says it was. Somebody who knows might like to resolve that discrepancy. -- Kevin Ryde 23:30, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have a reference that appears to give first-hand confirmation that the Naka was indeed hit. I've added the reference to this article. I'll also add the reference to the Seawolf article. Cla68 14:27, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Confirmed by Blair. Hara's a bit unreliable, FWI read. (I'm so embarassed I didn't notice this before... :( ) TREKphiler hit me ♠ 06:39, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Christmas Islands

[edit]

There a 2 Christmas Islands. One in the Indian & 1 in the Pacific Ocean. The 1 in the Pacific had an airfield during WWII. The other didn't. Therefore I have deleted the paragraph about an airfield. Graeme374 (talk) 06:25, 2 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Map is no good

[edit]

I don't know what happened, but the main map only shows up at like 240x240p, even when you click on it. You cannot make out the slightest amount of detail. I can barely make out that there is a tiny speck on it which must be the island, surrounded by an almost invisible larger square which apparently highlights the area which is magnified in the inset, but I can't see anything of the inset itself at all. It's basically worthless as a map in present form. I assume it once had a higher resolution, but something went wrong in the process us uploading it perhaps.
