Most sources I have seen refer to this battle as "Firket" rather than "Ferkeh". On Google "battle of Ferkeh" gets 67 hits, while "battle of Firket" gets 533 hits. So if noone disagrees, I'll move this article to Battle of Firket.--Raoulduke47 16:21, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is a redundant detail, since the last recorded use of red coats in action was the by Maxim sections of the Connaught Rangers ad North Staffordshire Regiment at Omdurman in 1898, as recorded by Lieutenant Winston Churchill in his account 'The River War.'
