Campaign?

[edit]

I don't understand why the Tullahoma Campaign page is only about the Battle of Hoover's Gap. Randy Golden (talk) 13:05, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ensured that the article is: within project scope, tagged for task forces, and assessed for class. It would benefit from: expansion, sections (Prelude, The battle, Aftermath), and in-text citations. --Rosiestep (talk) 17:36, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hoover's Gap was the only actual battle during the campaign; all of the rest was maneuvering. Our normal practice is to have a separate campaign article that summarizes the actions in multiple battles, including a campaign map, if possible, but since this one has only one battle, we (I) did not bother. It is on my to-do list, but not at a very high priority. You are welcome to take a stab at it. Check out some of the other campaign articles, such as Gettysburg Campaign or Northern Virginia Campaign for examples. Hal Jespersen (talk) 16:45, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
