does beckham qualify?

[edit]

Employment duties must be carried out in Spain, although working outside of Spain up to 15% of the time is permitted.

I am confused by this, doesn't Beckham play for LA Galaxy half the year, so does this mean he doesn't qualify because of this condition? --86.173.140.91 (talk) 17:43, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[RE] does beckham qualify?

[edit]

Beckham took advantage of this Law when he played for Real Madrid and therefore resided in Spain, at the moment he no longer qualifies as he is not a Spanish resident, nor is he employed by a Spanish based company. 46.26.114.4 (talk) 07:10, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Beckham Law/Act

[edit]

In my opinion, "Beckham Law" is an incorrect translation from Spanish. It should be called the "Beckham Act". When parliament passes legislation, in English we call it an "act", not a "law". For example the "Data Protection Act". --Timtranslates (talk) 07:48, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
