Separate Leicester North article?

[edit]

I would propose that the substantial content here about Leicester North be moved to Leicester North railway station, thereby separating the historic closed station from the active heritage activity. Lamberhurst (talk) 19:23, 16 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think this article is ready for splitting as such at this time. In particular there are no independent citaions to make the new station independently notable. If you were to find such independent citations then that would justify you starting an article on the new station and hence moving the bulk of the material from this article without the need for tags. For now, I will remove the tag. Op47 (talk) 14:32, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I support the proposed separation of this page. Belgrave & Birstall station is a completely separate subject to Leicester North. They have nothing in common and no overlaps in location, time, style, history, &c.. Svs02 (talk) 21:47, 5 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I also agree that this should be split with items relevant to Leicester North station moved to a new article Steamybrian2 (talk) 19:42, 26 April 2016 (UTC).[reply]
