Coinage, DYK

[edit]

In Dance of Days, it says that the term bent edge was coined by DC punk old-timer Micro here.

Also, this article looks like it would make a good Did You Know article. Any ideas for a hook? Gobonobo T C 07:21, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I already submitted it to DYK :) it can be found here ; however, if you can think of a better hook then mine I will add an alt1. I will see how i can add in micro to this article. --Guerillero | My Talk 15:27, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Subjective Tone

[edit]

This article has a subjective tone throughout. Its content appears to be minimal minimal. As does its relevance. See sentences such as: "This hurt Ian Mackaye because everyone was supposed to be part of the DC scene not just straight edge kids." Really? In an encyclopedia? Oulipal (talk) 12:07, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

SOFIXIT comes to mind. The article does need a copy edit for tone. As for the content, there are only a few small sources to work with. --Guerillero | My Talk 15:48, 11 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

this needs to be merged with straight edge. CombatMarshmallow (talk) 17:23, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. If no one disagrees I'm merging the two.Hoponpop69 (talk) 19:55, 7 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree. Bent Edge has been covered enough for its own article -- Guerillero Parlez Moi 20:11, 7 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]
