SlimVirgin,

Do you know where she was born?

Standard biogrphical usage should be used down the road with this article it seems.

Is her being Jewish her most important attribute? Thanks!Backroomlaptop 03:56, 28 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Slim,

Again, do you know Ms. Greenberg's exact, if there is such a thing, ethnicity? I am having trouble nailing this down, but you seem more knowledgeable. If she was born in the US, then American would be better/standard usage. If not, I will defer to you. Thanks! Backroomlaptop 05:07, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know what you mean by "standard biographical usage." Can you show me where the standard is written? SlimVirgin (talk) 05:17, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It seems she was born in Seattle, Wa and this was helpful to me..Wikipedia:Manual of Style (biographies) Backroomlaptop 05:29, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I will try to find out more about her ancestry and add it as I can....Backroomlaptop 05:32, 4 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, BRL. The MoS is a guideline that keeps changing (not policy), so it's far from clear whether we ought to rely on it at any given moment. I tend to agree that nationality only should be included as a rule but where the ethnicity is relevant to the article or to the person's notability, then I include it, which is why I did here.
