The first sentence describes BBBEE as Economic Empowerment -is Economic Empowerment itself not a weasel word? Shouldn't it be identified for what it is - legislation that promotes the majority race at the expense of minority races? An unclear article

From reading the article I understand the goal of BBBEE and how "Broad-Based Empowerment is driven down the supply chain" (took a while to get to that bit, shouldn't it be nearer the top?), but there is no real indication of how any of this is measured. The percentages for the seven pillars are given but how would an employer score highly for each of them? What are the criteria, for example does a specific percentage of the workforce need to be black? Lesebyst (talk) 15:50, 21 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
