Religious school?

[edit]

Bronte International University and Trinity College & University. This school is not accredited in the United States because it is a foreign university registered in the British Virgin Islands. The U.S. Department of Education does not accredit foreign colleges and universities. The purpose of the Hague Convention is to receive a foreign degree apostalized for use in the host country. The institution is not a "diploma mill" as some claim. If you seek a degree from Bronte/Trinity an applicant must submit all verifable credentials, be accepted, and then take the required courses.' It must be noted that Bronte International University which is Trinity College & University is a nondenominational religious school for profit. In the United States religious schools are exempt from Federal, State or private accreditation except from a body of their choosing. Rev. Walter J. Hi Rev. Levitt, if I understand your suggestion then you're saying that you'd like to add that BIU is a nondenominational religious school then please provide a link to the school website or some other relaiable source. Here on Wikipedia we must adhere to strict rules of verifiability. Just because someone posts a message on the discussion page it does not mean that what they say is true. I'm meaning no disrepect to you personally. I'm just saying that we must follow Wikipedia policy and that requires reliable sources for things said in the articles. The same body that accredits York Univeristy for Online education accredited Bronte when I was registered there

[edit]

When I got my degrees from Bronte I checked them out and they were accredited by the same online education body as York University in Toronto Ontario. I know in the US there is now a great deal of Paranoia about getting credited for previous education and experience, but In Canada many colleges and Universities do just that and I feel it is unfair to judge former students so badly. One of the accreddiation agencies was the International Commission for Higher Education. Bronte no longer exists.

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Bronte International University. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether, but should be used as a last resort. I made the following changes:

  • Attempted to fix sourcing for //www.biu-edu.org/course_des.html

When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).

UN Scandal

[edit]

That never happened it was an Urban Legend with no basis in fact. It was cirulated by right wing factions who disliked the idea of getting equivalency degrees for the courses and work experience being put together. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.69.135.3 (talk) 22:55, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
