The correct title has no "The" in it. Cf. The Simpsons Official Website --Closedmouth 12:59, 5 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Maris deleted?

[edit]

Every time I've seen the episode Cecil refers to Maris. CanadianCaesar Et tu, Brute? 02:15, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Originally, he was supposed to speak TO a character whom he refers to as Maris. In other words, they wanted to "show Maris." That bit was cut, but the verbal reference was left in. -- Scorpion 02:43, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Maris information

[edit]

Originally, i had added information after the word "maris?" in the article, on who maris actually IS, but it was deleted by someone.

so instead now i added a link to Maris Crane because there has to be a way of knowing who "maris" is if someone is not a frasier connoisseur... the link is needed. Jimifloydrix 02:46, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is already a link to Maris earlier in the article. -- Scorpion0422 02:50, 11 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Subtle Frasier References

[edit]

I guess we don't need to include every little reference, but there were a couple I noticed that weren't here. First, several of the pictures on the wall of the restaurant looked like cast members of Cheers (though I'm not 100% sure, I wasn't paying close attention at the time.) Also, Bob's indignation towards "cousin Merle" is very reminiscent of Frasier's attitude concerning his cousins of perceived low class, even down to the tone of disgust (though this probably sounds like a stretch to non Frasier fans.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.102.128.131 (talk) 05:56, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Allusions to John Sayles' movie?

[edit]

Other than the title, are there any references to the movie The Brother from Another Planet? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.101.92.141 (talk) 01:41, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dunno. There is the phrase 'Brother from another mother' to refer to a man whom is a friend. Lots42 (talk) 16:15, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
