@Basgar Peverel what was Burdick's role with Tomorrowland? There is a Los Angeles Times article about Tomorrowland where he is quoted but it is not clear to me what his role was.[1] Also, I found a few additional sources that I have added to the article which can be used to expand the prose at some point. There's more I found that I will add later but I am convinced he is a notable designer. S0091 (talk) 20:09, 12 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Bravo! He had no role in Tomorrowland, which I visited in 1958. He probably said something about it. Basgar Peverel (talk) 02:32, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Basgar Peverel Do any of the sources you already have mention the Burdick Desk won the 1981 International Design Excellence Award or perhaps any other award(s)? Also, do you have any photos of the actual exhibits/exhibit spaces he designed? I think that would be more meaningful than the poster or the buildings. S0091 (talk) 20:28, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@S0091: and @Basgar Peverel:, I did a search outside of the references included in the draft, just to see about notability as there would be no sense moving forward with any cleanup if the topic isn't notable. In my opinion he is, so I will move the draft to the mainspace. There are still some issues that should be taken into consideration such as the referencing (I would never use Twitter, even for a quote, unless it is published by a secondary reliable source confirming the Tweet). Some of the tone (in my opinion) can be lessened as it can be promotional (such as too much detail for each and every exhibition or design). References should also be checked to ensure that they support what is written but I do not have access to many of them. I am going to add a cleanup tag to the page but as far as notability I believe this would survive AfD. Happy editing!!--CNMall41 (talk) 14:36, 30 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Also, and I am not suggesting but instead saying to take a look, if applicable, there is Desk#Influence of computers where information could be added such as the image of him with the modular desk. --CNMall41 (talk) 14:51, 30 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@CNMall41 Thank you for the thoughtful review. I admittedly focused on finding sources rather than content and agree it does need to be trimmed. Like you, I was not sure about notability thus my decline but after @Basgar Peverel reached out to me I started digging around and I what I found, along with what Basgar had already provided that I could access, I thought made a compelling argument for inclusion. I actually think the the The Burdick Group desk may warrant a stand-alone article. S0091 (talk) 16:23, 1 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for publishing. I have invited some of the interested parties to cut. If they don't, I will.
