[edit]Does this article need a pronunciation guide for burnt-island? I innocently pronounced it as burnt-iz-lund recently (and got a lot of laughs), but before adding to the article I thought I would see if I was the only person to misread it? fabiform 19:00, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
I was surprised by the amount of detail regarding hairdressing salons in Burntisland which seems excessive. I believe that the ferry service was actually the world's second roll-on roll-off ferry, with the first being at Bedlington in Northumberland.Craiglea 12:26, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
