Untitled old thread

[edit]

I have logged in. I recieved the following email from Butch Hartman via his official website:

From: Butch Hartman To: XXX@XXX.com Cc: Bcc: Subject: Re: Question Date: Thu, 30 Jun 2005 20:30:43 -0700 (PDT)

I am NOT PHil Hartman's brother. That's a rumor that is incorrect.

Thanks -

Butch Hartman

  • Interesting, it appears that the online email form on butchhartman.com is down. If I receive a response from his direct email address I will post it here as well. Hall Monitor 1 July 2005 21:33 (UTC)
  • Hall Monitor, just use the email address at the top of the page to contact him. Methelfilms 1 July 2005 21:43 (UTC)

Major accuracy issues being corrected

[edit]

It would appear that the gross and wild inaccuracies were first inserted into this article by User:Carolaman (Upendra Samaranayake). [1] I will be leaving a message on his/her talk page regarding this matter. Hall Monitor 17:41, 11 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

FOP looks of other Nicktoons and Shows

[edit]

I have no idea what is being said in this section. It's confusing the way it is written. 24.10.181.254 (talk) 20:30, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It sounds like what whoever posted this is saying, is that Hartman drew the cast and characters from those other Nickelodeon in his own style. Proof would be nice. ----DanTD (talk) 00:47, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Additional sourcing would be great

[edit]

I did a little copy editing, but this article could use serious help. Anyways, --Tom (talk) 01:13, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edited out AIDS Attack

[edit]

I can't find info on any such project, and the link I removed went to Freddie Mercury's wikipedia page. Therefore, I assume it was vandalism. --Argguy (talk) 08:29, 31 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"OAXIS" Results/Reception

[edit]

A lot has developed regarding his newest business venture, and it warrants some investigation if not even a completely separate article for OAXIS alone. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cscherer1 (talkcontribs) 09:40, 9 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you refuse to include information on the controversies he has been involved in?

[edit]

The Oaxis controversy is where he SCAMMED fans out of their money and got off scot free. I don’t understand WHY you refuse to include information on it because plently of people online covered it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.179.251.242 (talk) 19:40, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Controversies can be added (I have no issue with that), but it must be done in a way that is only using confirmed and/or reliable sources, as well as being from a neutral point of view. HapHaxion (talk / contribs) 22:24, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Considering the fact Butch refuses to Pay Kuro the artist despite doing animations for him, Try’s to force his religious beliefs on others, Claiming it’s bad to be an introvert, claimed that what happened to Mary Kate Bergman was Tara Strongs fault in front of her face, bashed critics, and stole money from his fans. Yeah his controversy should be added Ms8763 (talk) 14:05, 7 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Most of those claims about him aren’t true. 76.68.176.213 (talk) 17:48, 16 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please credit the Japanese artist who he plagiarised in the controversy section. They are known as Otton and can be followed on Twitter with their handle, @028ton 2A00:23C7:3101:F101:852C:4C7:8844:B4F6 (talk) 00:11, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. This needs a reliable, but most importantly independent source. RandomCanadian (talk / contribs) 01:15, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"Unidentified" My Little Pony series?

[edit]

The current article reads, "he was hired as a character designer and storyboard artist for an unidentified My Little Pony animated series. As he had no previous experience with storyboards, he was soon fired. Afterwards, he found work with Ruby-Spears, where he worked on It's Punky Brewster and Dink, the Little Dinosaur."

If his work on the My Little Pony series really did predate his work on It's Punky Brewster, then there's only one series it could be, namely the first series. It's Punky Brewster's last episode aired in 1988, while the second series of MLP, My Little Pony Tales, didn't air until 1992, four years later. Is there something I'm missing, or wouldn't it make sense to replace "an unidentified My Little Pony animated series" with "the first My Little Pony animated series"?
