GA review (see here for criteria)

  1. It is reasonably well written.
    a (prose): b (MoS):
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
Can a little more detail about the route be added to the lead? In the route description, it would help to mention that there are separate border crossings for cars and trucks. Can some more details about the physical surroundings of the route be added to the route description?
As far as the border crossings, I'd love to add it... but the fact is, I can't source that. Do you have any ideas? --Rschen7754 05:29, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
US Customs and Border Protection. "Mexican Border Ports of Entry". Department of Homeland Security. Retrieved March 24, 2011. lists two border crossings for Calexico, if that helps somewhat. Imzadi 1979  09:44, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that refers to the SR 111 border crossing as opposed to this one. --Rschen7754 20:35, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    Added a sentence - is this better? --Rschen7754 00:19, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Concerning the border crossing, Google Street View can be sourced showing there are separate roads for cars and trucks. Otherwise, the article looks good. Dough4872 15:05, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Also, it appears the road is in the Sonoran Desert rather than the Mojave Desert, which is farther north. Dough4872 17:48, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Good catch. Both issues should be resolved. --Rschen7754 22:04, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
An image of the road would be nice, but not required.
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

I will place the article on hold for a few minor fixes. Dough4872 23:13, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I will now pass the article. Dough4872 01:30, 27 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
