Names
[edit]One of the editors deleted Cao Xueqin's given and courtesy names, but I felt they were important so I restored them. I don't frequent Wikipedia that often - hopefully a solution could be found after some discussion.
Xueqin (雪芹) itself was a style name (or literary name), but he had at least two other style names as well, Qinpu(芹圃) and Qinxi(芹溪). Cao Xueqin's given name, it is now commonly agreed, was Cao Zhan (曹霑) and his courtesy name Mengruan(梦阮). But so many names might make the infobox a bit cluttered. Is there any feasible solution to this? At the very least I feel Cao Xueqin's given name and courtesy name ought to be mentioned, since birth name was the proper name by which an adult was formally addressed in pre-republican China. Encyclopaedia Britannica uses "Cao Zhan" (instead of Cao Xueqin) as their article name. DORC (talk) 19:42, 6 March 2016 (UTC)
