[edit]This is merely original research, but a note of interest: As a North Carolina native, and one who tries the Carolina style of every hamburger restaurant that I visit, I can confirm that the four-condiment variation is chili, mustard, slaw, and onions. However, whenever I see the three-condiment variation, it is the onions that are omitted in favor of mustard (I've always assumed that many people don't like what onions do to their breath). This isn't to say that the "mustard replaces slaw" claim is incorrect. Obviously, this article needs citations. I merely suggest that whoever decides to find sources for this article looks into both of these three-condiment variants. -- 71.71.53.31 (talk) 22:20, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
