[edit]Pay attention to what you guys are doing please, bots and humans. You don't need to list the author 3 times, do you? What's the point of that? von Mueller's name is listed under the genus, it doesn't need to be put anywhere else twice more. If you want to move it somewhere to be in line with whatever format of the week Wikipedia has decided upon, go for it, but just have the name listed once. Not too hard to do, is it? - Actually, it is necessary. The species name is not necessarily by the same author as the genus name (and very commonly, it isn't), so the species author does need to be indicated to show it is the same. What (F.Muell.) F.Muell. shows is that the species was first described by Mueller in a different genus Somethingelsia alphandii F.Muell., and then later transferred by Mueller to the new genus Castanospora.
- It is true that F.Muell. doesn't need to be wikilinked on each occasion, but that's an entirely separate issue. - MPF 08:27, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
