Inclusion of Depths of Wikipedia

[edit]

I included a section on Depths of Wikipedia however I am unsure if it meets the relevance criteria for inclusion.

Given the show’s prominence and having its own article, I believe it should be included.

Annierau’s suggestion to create a page for the venue was during the show and is not cited, but she may be able to indicate that she indeed said that. Or other attendees may indicate so here. Kenhara (talk) 12:54, 23 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It was tentatively sourced to a MediaWiki blog with the acknowledgement that this may not meet the requirements for inclusion. The blog cited doesn't seem to actually mention Rauwerda's show or the Ballroom at all, though.
If the fact is that Annie Rauwerda performed a show here in 2023 and suggested that the venue should have a Wikipedia page, and it clearly now has one, that sounds like WP:SUBJECT applies:
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, so its articles are about their subjects; they are not about the articles themselves. This means that even if an article itself becomes famous, that article should not report this about itself.

Ex-Serviceman’s Club image from Colorado Encyclopedia / Auraria Library

[edit]

I’d love to include the photograph featured here in the article, but the copyright status of the image is unclear to me:
