Can I suggest that a more explicit explanation be given as to why this phenomenon is of interest? I know you have a link to the Cherry blossoms article which explains their significance in Japanese culture at length, but a line or so in this article alluding to that importance would, I think, be helpful to those entirely unfamiliar with it. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 90.197.66.173 (talk) 16:12, 1 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps this article will be suitable for WP:DYK? ~AH1 (discuss!) 19:52, 1 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

American cherry blossom front

[edit]

Has any effort been made to track the progress of cherry blossoms in North America? Seeing as Georgia, Washington-DC, and Philly and New York (and NJ) have blossoming cherry trees, shouldn't someone be tracking the front in our country as well? 198.151.130.42 (talk) 03:14, 13 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
