Item renaming required, but not possible

According to IMDb the film premiered on November 29, 1939, before its national release on January 24, 1940! I wanted to rename the article, but I couldn't because there is a redirect that prevents renaming. Would it be possible to remove this untimely redirect so that I can rename the article?
