Trivial content - vote on Israel aid

[edit]

In the section "Political positions" I added the clarification that his Israel vote was nothing special -- it was a nearly unanimous, bipartisan vote (per the original cited source).

The statement originally said: "Edwards voted to provide Israel with support following the 2023 Hamas attack on Israel"

I amended it to clarify that the basically non-controversial, non-partisan legislation was supported by just about everyone in both parties: "Edwards voted, with the 412-to-10 bipartisan majority, to provide Israel with support following the 2023 Hamas attack on Israel"

Of all the many, many Congressional votes this man has cast, WHY would anyone waste the readers' attention on this vote? It's like saying he voted for "Mom, apple pie, and the American flag." Please use Wikipedia to note politicians' record on controversial issues -- or, if/when they take extraordinary positions on otherwise non-controversial issues. (If he'd voted against the aid, and opposed the vast, bipartisan majority, that would have been notable. An ordinary "me, too" vote is not.)
