Peer Review/Citadel of Taursus

[edit]

A lovely article over a key citadel during the early years of the Crusades throughout Jerusalem! Here are some suggestions that I have to further improve. - All information is relevant, and pertains to the proper time period. I noticed the images were (obviously) from the modern era, so perhaps a section describing what has become of this historic site would befit the images allocated with the article? Just a thought. - It was hard having to see your only source being another Wikipedia article. Some improved citation is needed. The Bibliography looks good though! Perhaps a more diverse representation of authors is needed. Are there any english translations of Arabic history books regarding this Citadel? - Regarding your opening statement under the history tab: Who did the Crusaders win against? I think this could be cleared up with some simple edits. - I think that the historical significance of the Nur ad-Din's occupation of the temple should be discussed more in this article. It seems a little one-sided towards the Crusaders. - The article is organized into two major sections, History and Features, divided by a 'Commanders' Tab. Perhaps this section could be expanded upon? Fast links to what occurred under each commanders' rule over the Citadel of Tartus would add a lot.

Overall, I enjoyed this article, and it was very informative, albeit a quick read. Alas, when information is limited on a topic, it cannot be helped. I hope to see this article expanded upon in the future!
