Masonic infiltrations of Churches

[edit]

The press often talks about Communist infiltrations of Churches during the Soviet period, but I feel that there is also room to discuss about a parallel phenomenon in Western countries, where several Cardinals were alleged to have ties with unusual Masonic lodges, such as the P2 lodge in Italy.[1] For instance, it is more than a coincidence that several Anglican bishops have opnly admitted to being members of the Freemasons.
