NXN Combo Color Lots of Info Figure

[edit]

I like the information in the figure. There is nothing new, but it combines many tables and figures into one. However, the tools used to make the figure are not up to the job. I am trying to find a graphic artist to re-do it even if it costs me some bucks. If they understood some biology I would be more comfortable, because this is not a good place to introduce an error. The figure needs to be vector graphics - I think. Also, when I print it, 2 of the colors are too similar. If someone on wiki here would like to redo it, please tell me. It would be good if the graphic artist understood all the possible problems with both ink- and toner-based printers for the RGB to CMYK rip of this figure. Maybe there is already a 4-color scheme known for maximum perceptual differences in using 4 colors in a color-coded figure. That might require testing with humans. Does anyone know where such color directives might be published? Frank Layden (talk) 17:04, 9 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
