America

[edit]

His new video was shot "in every state across America as well as several provinces in Canada". Isn't Canada in America? If not, where is it? In Africa? Europe? Asia? This is an international encyclopedia. Please avoid US colloquial terms. America extends from Canada to Argentina. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 181.47.59.232 (talk) 22:05, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

THe first two sources are only databases with no in-depth coverage of this person and can not be used to indicate notability, but it can be used to prove facts/source for information.

The thirds source (worldofwonder.net) does not have any in-depth coverage of this subject ether, but proves that the person has earned a n award, the "Wowie Award", however weither that's notable is a question, since that award does not have an article on Wikipedia.

The fourth source is the same as the third, exept that it only proves that he is nominated for a Grabby Award, which there is an article about on Wikipedia.

The fifth source (outfest.org) is only mentioning the subject in passing, listing him as a participant of a film, not any in-depth coverage to prove notability though.

The sixth source (indiegogo.com) is not third party and is not an independent source and can not be used to prove notability.

The sevent source (queerty.com) is a good one. It covers him in-depth and is independent. More of these sources and I would say that this subject is notable.

The eight source (placestogoinlosangeles.com) is a description of an event, and not independent. It is neither in-depth of the subject either.

With the ninth source (citypaper.com) it is more like it. Like with the queerty-source above, this is a reliable, independent and ok source.

The tenth source (out.com) might be independent and about the subject, I don't think it is "covering" the subject enough to prove notability though, and the website isn't directly known for it's fact checking nor reliablity.

Source eleven and twelve (manhuntdaily.com) is not independent and can not be used to prove notability, as stated above.

Source thirteen (wetheurban.com) only has a few sentances, and half of it are just quotes, not anything in-depth.

Even though source 14, 15 and 16 mostly is abot his music video they do discuss the subject to some extent, and can be used to indicate that the subject is notable.

With these remarks I'm finding that, while it is a judgement call on my side, that the subject is (barely) notable, and I will accept this article as I find it stands a living chance of surviving an AfD-nomination in case anyone were to object to me. I hope that more independent and reliable sources which discuss this subject more in-depth come to light in the future and be added in this article. Thanks. doubts about notability

[edit]

I checked most of the sources and it seems that most of the links are either dead or unreliable like for example: Internet Adult Film Database , "Manhunt Daily – Get in Bed With Colby Keller!". manhuntdaily.com. Retrieved May 4, 2015., "Manhunt Daily – Get in Bed With Colby Keller!". manhuntdaily.com. Retrieved May 4, 2015. and many other. do you feel that such a poorly sourced bio should be on wikipedia? --AlejandroLeloirRey (talk) 00:01, 12 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
