Combining Snodgrass Hill and Chickamauga into a single battle.

[edit]

The article, in its current form, may lead the reader to believe that Snodgrass Hill and Chickamauga were two separate battles. Snodgrass Hill was, in fact, the latter part of day 2 of the same Chickamauga battle. In support of treating them as one, I would say that Snodgrass Hill lies within the boundaries of the Chickamauga National Military Park and also that George H. Thomas gained the nickname The Rock of Chickamauga for his stand at Snodgrass Hill. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tripehound (talkcontribs) 18:04, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
