Coral Reef Drive History

[edit]

Okay folks, I've done all that I think I can to this article, but my drive to try and get it up to a C-class quality rating on WP:USRD is not letting me rest. I don't believe that there's any way that I could possibly add any information on the road's history, hence my call out to U.S. Roads and the other WikiProjects interested in this article. Personally, I think there would be some things worth pursuing in the history section:

  • Why the road is called Coral Reef Drive, in particular
  • When the road was built
  • A verification on SR 992's date of inauguration
  • Why is SR 992 so short (i.e. has it been truncated?)
  • Any (verifiable!) plans for SR 992's/Coral Reef Drive's future
  • Possible role in Hurricane Andrew evacuation/recovery

I don't really have any idea where to start with this section, so it is my hope that some more experienced folks and/or the locals will be able to help out. Please feel free to discuss this here. -DyluckTRocket (talk) 11:40, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
