Genealogical research
[edit]I looked on Ancestry for any records relating to Migneco.
1930 US Census - She is living with her parents in Salem, Massachusetts. These were Joseph and Elizabeth. Her age is given as 15.
New York, U.S., Arriving Passenger and Crew Lists (including Castle Garden and Ellis Island), 1820-1957 - there is a Corinne Migneco arriving in New York on 13 July 1936, having sailed from Bremen, Germany. This would fit with her participation in the 1936 World Table Tennis Championships. She is recorded as being 23 and from Haverhill, Massachusetts.
U.S., Social Security Applications and Claims Index, 1936-2007 - there is a Corinne Elizabeth Migneco listed as having been born in Haverhill on 23 April 1913 and dying 6 January 2000. She seems to have married a Mr Mayo at some point. It lists her parents as Joseph and Elizabeth. Skycloud86 (talk) 00:04, 10 February 2022 (UTC)
