Boston University course link

I noticed a link to a course overview in the further reading section ([1]). My question is on if it is representative of the field in general, considering that it seems like part of a theology course (the teacher is both theologian and philosopher, BU theology department is not mainstream but Methodist, the course is about "the nature of God", etc).
