Tagged for NPOV

[edit]

I've tagged this article for NPOV violations since the article is blatantly written like a game report favoring the jets. This content is likely copied from another source. If this is the case then this article may even meet deletion criteria.

I don't agree with deleting the article, as any copyright problem can easily be solved, and the Jets are a notable team as far as american football in Britain and Europe goes. On the other hand, I certainly agree that the article needs a complete rewrite from a neutral point of view. I'm also doubting whether honours won by the Warwickshire/Coventry Bears and Walsall Titans should be included in the infobox. Although the club has ties to these clubs (the Jaguars were formed when these two clubs merged), they should be regarded as separate entities as soccer clubs in a similar situation are (e.g. Rushden & Diamonds F.C. was formed by the merger of Rushden Town F.C. and Irthlingborough Diamonds F.C.) removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV

[edit]

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
  1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
  2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
  3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 01:39, 22 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
