Craig cefn parc is a village in the lower Swansea Valley. It has a village school, two non-comformist chapels, one Independant and one Baptist, a public house and a sub post-office. In previous generations it was an entirely Welsh-speaking village inhabited mainly by coal miners.
Its most notable residents in recent years have been the mass-murderer, David Morris, and the perpetual-motion crackpot, Myron Evans. Before WW2, the village was most closely associated with the name of Harry 'Death-Ray' Grindell-Matthews, another pseudoscientist who had previously made valid contributions to the history of science. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.168.161.126 (talk) 16:08, 19 December 2011 (UTC)
