highest ranking public school?

[edit]

The claim that Craigie SHS was consistently the top-scoring public school in West Australia is highly doubtful. This certainly wasn't the case in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

(rebuttal) --- CSHS was only opened in the late 70's! In the 80's and early 90's, it accepted students from the SSPP program, meaning that it had a high academic standard to be proud of...Honeste Vivo biatches!!!!(/rebuttal)

still doubtful

[edit]
I'm aware Craigie didn't open until the late 1970s. I, along with my two sisters, were students there between 1979 and 1989. In those years, Craigie was not a highly regarded state school. The claim that Craigie "was consistently among the top-scoring public schools in Western Australia in the Tertiary Entrance Exam (TEE)" is simply untrue.

Maybe it wasn't *then*, but it was still well regarded in its later years, particularly in the Humanities and Arts, IIRC.

Removed claim. I have league tables from the late 90s which suggest otherwise to the claims,. Orderinchaos 10:37, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
