Free kick conversion rate

"Cristiano Ronaldo plays an attacking role, most often playing as either a striker,[474] or as a winger,[475] and is known in particular for his finishing, pace, dribbling, crossing and ability on free kicks."

His free kick conversion rate is actually around 4%. The best free kick takers approach 20%.

Regardless, he is known for his free kicks, whether he has any ability with them or not. – PeeJay 11:01, 9 March 2016 (UTC)

Teams played for

Does he really need the club statistics when he was in the Sporting CP B team Hatrick123Patrick (talk) 07:52, 29 May 2016 (UTC)

The Sporting B team played in the Portuguese national football league system, so those appearances count as senior appearances. So yes... – PeeJay 09:10, 29 May 2016 (UTC)

Two games for the B team seem odd to document when he was already a full first team player that season Hatrick123Patrick (talk) 09:21, 29 May 2016 (UTC)

Yes, they should be there. Kante4 (talk) 09:24, 29 May 2016 (UTC)

I would like to add a source to the name "Portugal" because it should contain one because people should be able to access the country's page from a citizen's page. DiegoCher (talk) 23:58, 7 June 2016 (UTC)

In the section about his philanthropy I would like to see the specification of Didier Drogba as an "African Star" removed. Drogba is a soccer superstar just like the other players mentioned in that section and solely because the topic is about ebola was the specification made. It seems racist to me.

Agency

Preferably in the profile section.

Add Agency/Agent then name of agency/agent.

in this case said agency is GestiFute International — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.102.54.219 (talk) 15:51, 1 July 2016 (UTC)

In Cristiano Ronaldo's PROFILE section it would be important to an 'Agent/Agency' Subheading with the correct information underneath it. In this case Gestifute International.

His biography summary states that he was

"the first player to score at four consecutive European Championship finals"

but this is incorrect. He is the first player to score at four consecutive European Championships, period. He didn't score in the four finals. Aqueiro (talk) 17:20, 29 August 2016 (UTC)

Actually, the entire tournament after the qualifying stage is referred to as "the finals". If we meant he'd scored in four final matches, we'd have said he was the first player to score in four finals. – PeeJay 17:28, 29 August 2016 (UTC)

I think Uefa super cup 2016 should be added to Bale, Cristiano, Kroos and Pepe's club honours with Real Madrid

Muneeb Madridista (talk) 19:03, 25 August 2016 (UTC) [1]

I don't see any valid source for that honour, and what you think isn't particularly relevant. – PeeJay 20:56, 25 August 2016 (UTC)
There are valid sources, but you don't want to see them. I don't see any valid source for 2015 Super Cup and 2016 Supercopa for Neymar and he has these honours in this Wikipedia. --88.17.8.206 (talk) 21:34, 25 August 2016 (UTC)

Just for the record, http://int.soccerway.com/players/cristiano-ronaldo-dos-santos-aveiro/382/, he won it XD. An official independent source. So PeeJay?? Valid or not? Fan blog as a repeated source

The source "Evolution of Cristiano's game over the years" ([2]), quoted eight times in the article, is from a Cristiano Ronaldo fan blog. Blogs, especially fan-created ones, are not credible Wikipedia sources. sixtynine • speak up • 02:27, 11 July 2016 (UTC)

I've reduced its use by three, which is something at least. The quality of sourcing in this article overall is not good. Prayer for the wild at heart (talk) 12:01, 17 July 2016 (UTC)
