Eclipse

[edit]

SounderBruce and Cwmhiraeth, please check whether my edit affects the DYK nom, now at Prep 6. --Paul_012 (talk) 06:16, 17 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Paul 012: Seems OK to me. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:35, 17 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Paul 012: According to the source, Cooke claimed that "“exceptionally high tides and currents coinciding with this week’s solar eclipse” caused the damage. That doesn't seen to imply a cause and effect relationship between the eclipse and high tides, as claimed by Cooke.[1] Fraenir (talk) 06:55, 17 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I've adjusted the wording. --Paul_012 (talk) 07:46, 17 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unclear to me

[edit]

Reading this article left me wondering what the basic problem was. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:CF99:2080:8CFF:108C:11DF:4F0D (talk) 17:08, 20 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I'm inclined to agree. Was this a Bad Thing? What were the consequences? What could have happened? The article based says some fish got out and they tried to get them back. This needs more work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.163.101.38 (talk) 11:54, 19 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The article does not state whether the fish established themselves or not.

[edit]

So now, ¿what is the result? Either ¿did all of the salmon die? or ¿did the fish establish themselves? Stories need a beginning, middle, and an end. This article lacks an end:

Beginning:

Fish farmed in Washington.

Middle:

Fish escaped.

End:

¿? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.174.239.209 (talk) 09:45, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
