Why is this system called "Czech" when it was originally Slovak?

[edit]

According to the article on Czech Wikipedia, this system was first used by Slovak club (called Sitniansky klub) in present-day Slovakia in 1874. Only in 1884 first Czech routes were made. Thus, I believe this hiking markers system is rather "Slovak and Czech" than simply "Czech" or, if you want, "Czechoslovak". The name of this article should reflect that.
