<Cityname> <City>

[edit]

There is a discussion regarding the removal of the word "city" from the article titles of Philippine cities. This may imminently affect the article name for Dagupan. For city names which are not unique, disambiguation alternatives are also being presented. Formal request for page move may follow after a reasonable time of discussion. If you wish to participate, please post your comments here. --JinJian (talk) 04:16, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Dagupan

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Dagupan's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "businessmirror.com.ph":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 02:10, 4 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This article erroneously indicates in its sidebar that the Mayor of Dagupan City is Belen T. Fernandez. The Mayor of Dagupan City is now Marc Brian C. Lim, who defeated Belen T. Fernandez in the May 2019 elections. Here are links to articles about Lim's victory in the elections: Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page).
