I dont understand this

[edit]

In the article there is a note saying: "PLEASE do not separate out this and turn it into a "Controversy" section due to BLP concerns. See Talk:BTS (band)/Archive 2#Controversy section." I don't understand why BLP concerns make it any different to move the relevant material into a controversy section? Can someone explain that to me? And I should clarify, i dont even think there needs to be a separate controversy section per se, but at the same time, i find it weird that that hidden note to editors is present in the text. Apples&Manzanas (talk) 04:11, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The note is a bit misleading. "Controversy" sections should be avoided per WP:CSECTION, BLP or not. -Zanhe (talk) 06:09, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for explaining. I changed the note a little bit per what you said. Apples&Manzanas (talk) 08:11, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I want to add some info on Dahyun's personal life. Her religion is Christian (not sure what specific denomination), her fan nickname is "Dubu", which means tofu in Korean (attributed to her light skin tone), and is close to Kyulkyung from the fellow K-pop group Pristin. This information comes from this source: https://channel-korea.com/twice-dahyun-profile/ 2604:2000:1500:C142:F4DF:B97A:96F:E56B (talk) 15:30, 28 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. This is all fairly trivial information and not from a reliable source - see WP:KO/RS#R. Evaders99 (talk) 21:56, 28 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Describing artists as songwriters

[edit]

This may be answered somewhere else, so I'm sorry for the eventual redundancy of my question, but is there a reason Dahyun (or Chaeyoung and Jihyo) are not described as singer-songwriters in their articles? What are the criteria? Do top-liners need to write most songs over multiple releases to be described as songwriters? Thank you for your help. SSBMboss (talk) 12:08, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
